The Lady Braves finished the season 23-5 and ended the season winning their last twelve games and did not lose a game in the entire month of February as their last lost was on January 4, against Floyd Central.
The Borden Lady Braves averaged 54 points a game and only allowed 38. The Lady Braves would win Sectionals for the first time since 2015 and would win their first ever Regional, Semi-State, and State Championship. The Lady Braves have also never won 23 games in a season (according to John Harrell).
The Clark County Herald Player of the Year is always hard to decide. As we all know, there are many great athletes that are deserving of this award, which is why this award is only offered to seniors.
This years Clark County Herald Player of the Year is Leah Stevens. Stevens is a senior at Christian Academy of Indiana. Stevens helped the Lady Warriors win 14 games this season which was a new school record.

According to Max Preps, Stevens averaged 15 points a game and was ranked 37th in the state for most three pointers made. Stevens will be joined by two other Lady Warriors as part of the All-Herald Team which will be announced after the Boys Basketball season.
