Bradie Shrum Elementary launches “Try It Tuesday”

Bradie Shrum Elementary has launched a way for children to try new foods and have a say in what they are served during school lunchtime. “Try It Tuesday” seems to be a hit with the students as they are greeted with optional samples of new menu items and then that item is served on the following Thursday.

According to the Director of Nutrition Services, Karen Libka, they received great feedback and the “kids really enjoyed it.”

“Try It Tuesday” occurs once a month.
