The Scottsburg Board of Public Works and Safety approved the hiring of a new utility clerk, at their recent meeting. Shannon Nichols' start date was Monday, October 7.
Nichols was praised for her qualifications and potential contributions to the community. The board expressed trust in her abilities and unanimously approved her hiring.
