SCSD2 Superintendent reports on enrollment at recent board meeting

At a recent meeting of the SCSD2 (Scott County School District 2) board, Superintendent Marc Slaton announced the current enrollment for the beginning of the 2024 school year. Slaton said that as of Friday, August 9 district 2 had 2516 students with more showing up daily.

Slaton said an update would be given at the next scheduled meeting Wednesday, August 28. Approximately 2500 students is what is expected. The first count date that will be submitted to state is October 1, 2024, followed by a second February 1, 2025.
