Perry Stainbrook

Perry was in the Year 2000 graduating class and attended Scottsburg High School. Shortly after graduation, he was employed by Aisin USA which is a factory in Seymour, Indiana that manufactures components for a lot of Toyota model vehicles. Perry is currently still employed by AUM and holds the title of PC Specialist. In October of 2023, he was hired by Amos Publishing Media to cover the sports department for the Washington County Herald. Growing up and raising four children sports has always been a big part of his life. Perry's main sport growing up was baseball. He even coached his sons' baseball teams when they were younger and he still plays the old-man game of slow-pitch softball. However, he is starting to transition over to more golf. Perry enjoys covering student athletes in all of the coverage areas and is proud to give them the coverage they wouldn't otherwise get. The highlight of his first year working for Amos Publishing Media was being able to cover the Scottsburg Warriors basketball team on their run to an Indiana State 3a championship. Perry looks forward to his future career in sports reporting and hopes to bring a light to the student athletes that he is privileged to cover.
