"Becky" works as the office manager as well some writing and some computer layouts for the publications. A large portion of her job is customer service via phone and email. Before coming to Amos Publishing, she had no formal writing experience but had 25+ years of office experience. Becky started her job as a part-time position before quitting her other job to transition into full-time with the newspaper. She always had an interest in local news from a young age and can remember always wanting to be the first to read the newspaper, even before her parents or grandparents. Originally from Jennings County, Becky has only lived in Scott County for the past 5 years yet she considers it home; she can't imagine being anywhere else! She loves that her position has allowed her to help make local news accessible to the community and she enjoys meeting the readers and business contacts. She has come to know many great individuals through her job, whether it be someone she has interviewed for a story or customers that stop into the office to place an ad or pick up the latest issue. One of Becky's favorite parts of working at Amos Publishing has been getting to help non-profits.
