Synthia has immersed herself in the world of journalism from a young age, influenced by her mother who served as a deejay and news anchor/director at WMPI I105.3 for 12 years. Beginning with an early internship in the news department at WMPI and excelling as editor-in-chief of both her high school and junior college newspapers - where she earned an award for her coverage of the student presidential debate. Her career in media began at just 14 years old with a job delivering newspapers, laying the foundation for her journey. Currently, Synthia is an integral part of Amos Publishing, where she has evolved from an intern to a dedicated staff writer over her five-year tenure. In parallel to her professional pursuits, Synthia is studying at Indiana University Southeast, majoring in tourism and event planning with minors in microbiology, theatre, and journalism. She made the competitive cheer team and is a member of the Alpha Epsilon Sorority.
Synthia finds joy in directing the Kentucky Miss Amazing Pageant, participating in pageants herself, and engaging in acting, dancing, bowling, tennis, and volunteering. She leverages her passion for modeling and works collaboratively with brands as an influencer. Â
